Updated 15 July 2024
Applies to England
The phrase ‘pre-release access’ refers to the practice whereby official statistics in their final form, and any accompanying written commentary, are made available to an eligible person in advance of their publication. The rules and principles that govern pre-release access are featured in the Pre-release Access to Official Statistics Order 2008.
The data contained in the statistical release has been used by Ofsted for operational reasons, meaning that access to this data has been available to a number of Ofsted employees for the purpose of meeting business needs and discharging functions.
Access to this statistical release has not been given to the Ofsted employees referred to in the previous paragraph. With the exception of the analysts who produce the output and other employees involved in the production process, only individuals included in the list below have been given 24-hour pre-release access.
