Documents
Details
The report presents key statistics on activity in the criminal justice system for England and Wales. It provides information up to the year ending September 2019 with accompanying commentary, analysis and presentation of longer term trends.
The release of last quarter’s offending histories was delayed, due to upgrades to the Ministry of Justice’s data extract of the Police National Computer. Last quarter’s offending history data, including data tables and pivot tables, have now been added alongside this Criminal Justice Statistics quarterly publication. Please take some time to read and respond to our consultation on our proposal to publish the offending histories chapter on an annual basis, rather than the current quarterly updates. For further information, see the consultation document published above.
