August 2024 update
Part 2 of the new indicators factsheet added, including new indicators on dementia types and residential types. Data published includes rates and proportions and confidence intervals for England, 7 NHS regions and integrated care board areas.

- 2024 annual data update for the estimated dementia diagnosis rate (EDDR) indicator for integrated care boards, sub-integrated care boards and local authorities
About the dementia profile
The dementia profile is designed to improve the availability and accessibility of information on dementia. The data is presented in an interactive tool that allows users to view and analyse it in a user-friendly format.
The profile is structured around the NHS England well pathway for dementia with indicators arranged into 5 data domains:

Indicators in the dementia profile are shown for integrated care boards (ICBs) and sub locations (sub ICBs) where used, and for local authority geographies. This data gives local commissioners and providers the information needed to benchmark current practice against other areas in England and the England level.
