Details

A figure has been withdrawn following the discovery of an error since this release was first published on 14 September 2017. This error is small and the impact has been minimal. The only figure affected was in Figure 9. This has not affected any other part of the release or any of the tables.

Statistics on the number and pass rates of driving and riding practical tests conducted in Great Britain for April to June 2017, and also statistics on driving instructors.

During April to June 2017, there were:

  • 546,608 theory tests
  • 485,148 practical tests

Compared with April to June 2016, this was:

  • a decrease of 5.6% across all theory tests
  • an increase of 7.6% across all practical tests
