Details

Statistics on the number and pass rates of driving and riding practical tests conducted in Great Britain for the period July to September 2016, and also statistics on driving instructors.

During July to September 2016, there were:

  • 467,408 practical tests
  • 573,163 theory tests

Compared to the same quarter in 2015:

  • all practical tests were up 6.7%
  • all theory tests were up 0.3%
  • Large Goods Vehicle (LGV) tests of all kinds were up 5.3%, with practical vocational tests up 14.8%
