Details

Statistics on the number and pass rates of driving and riding theory and practical tests conducted in Great Britain for the period October to December 2022, and also statistics on driving instructors.

In October to December 2022, there were:

  • 600,000 car theory tests conducted
  • 425,000 car practical tests conducted

Compared with October to December 2021, this was:

  • an increase of 11% for car theory tests
  • an increase of 1% for car practical tests

The pass rate in October to December 2022 was:

  • 42.9% for car theory tests
  • 48.0% for car practical tests
