Details

The electric vehicle charging device grant scheme statistics: October 2022 tables file has been re-uploaded in January 2023 replacing an incorrect version uploaded in error. The original version was missing a data sheet containing data on the Electric Vehicle Chargepoint Grant (EVCG) and the file published was not in a machine readable format. Both these issues have now been resolved and there has been no revision the underlying data.

Experimental statistics on the number of grants awarded for the installation of electric vehicle charging devices in the UK in October 2022, broken down by local authority.

The Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV) provides grants to support the use of electric vehicles, including the installation of charging devices. This summary covers statistics on grant schemes, including the:

  • Electric Vehicle Chargepoint Grant (EVCG)
  • Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS)
  • On-Street Residential Chargepoint Scheme (ORCS)
  • Electric Vehicle Homecharge Scheme (EVHS), the predecessor to the EVCG
  • Domestic Recharging Scheme (DRS), the predecessor to the EVHS

Please note the new Electric Vehicle Chargepoint Grant, which has replaced EVHS on 1 April 2022 has been included for the first time in this publication.
