Enrolments at schools and in funded pre-school education in Northern Ireland 2017/18
Enrolment data from the 2017/18 annual school census was released in December 2017.

Details
The purpose of this statistical release is to present final enrolment figures for schools and for children in funded pre-school education in Northern Ireland for 2017/18. The data are taken from the school census exercise, which ran in October 2017.
Data collected through the school census exercise is used to inform Departmental policy development, implementation and evaluation. This first release of the basic statistics contains information which is used in the process to allocate funding to schools.
Revision Note:
This bulletin was revised on the 17th July 2018 to correct the grand total, total number of Primary school pupils (Table 2a), and on the 29th April 2019 to correct the years 8-12 enrolment figures (Fig. 3b), total enrolment including EOTAS (Table 3), percentage of girls and boys aged 16 or 17 studying A Levels or equivalent (page 10), and suppression (Table 6a, Table 7).
