About this release

Data in this release relate to the number of free swims for the first quarter of year 2 of the Programme and July 2010 (1 April 2010 to 31 July 2010). These data are presented alongside the figures for the first four quarters of the Programme (1 April 2009 to 31 March 2010).

There will no further release of throughput figures for the Programme, as it has now ceased. 

In addition to the number of free swims within each Local Authority, figures are also presented showing the number of free swims per 1,000 target population within each Local Authority.
