Details

Tables 1 to 1c in this statistical notice provide breakdowns of the criminal histories of those offenders recorded on the Police National Computer as having been convicted or cautioned during the 12 months ending March 2013.

The tables provide breakdowns for this group by the number of previous convictions, and the percentage with at least one previous sentence for either an immediate custodial sentence of 1 year or less, over 1 year, Community Sentence, Other Sentence and Caution. These are then further broken down by age of offender.

Tables 2 to 5 provide the same information but disaggregated by whether the offender recorded on the Police National Computer as having been convicted or cautioned during the 12 months ending March 2013.received an immediate custodial sentence of 1 year or less, over 1 year, Community Sentence or Other Sentence.
