The Health Survey for England is a series of annual surveys covering health and health related behaviours.

Details

This publication will publish 2016 England level data with a limited amount of regional data. The trend tables present time series data for the available years at England level by sex. Some tables present data by age group and sex. The topics covered include height, weight, BMI, smoking, alcohol, physical activity, general health, long-standing illness, fruit and vegetable consumption. For adults there are also tables about well-being, blood pressure and the prevalence of diabetes and cardio-vascular disease. Commentary on trends will be included. Additional topics reports will cover: • adult obesity and weight management • adult physical activity • social care • kidney and liver disease • prescribed medicines • adult wellbeing (WEMWBS and GHQ12)
