HSE is a series of annual surveys designed to measure health and health related behaviours in adults and children, in England. The surveys have core elements that are included every year and special topics that are included in selected years. The trend tables present time series data for the available years at England level by sex. Some tables present data by age group and sex. The topics covered include height, weight, BMI, smoking, alcohol, physical activity, general health, long-standing illness, fruit and vegetable consumption. For adults there are also tables about well-being, blood pressure and the prevalence of diabetes and cardiovascular disease.
