Details

All results are estimates, based on data from the Family Resources Survey (FRS) drawn from a sample of private households in the UK.

The main report results are for 2010/11 using modified OECD equivalisation scales, with the geographical coverage being the UK. The reference year for absolute low-income results is 1998/99.

Figures are rounded to the nearest 100,000 or percentage point meaning figures may not sum exactly due to rounding.
