Key findings this quarter
One request is being published this quarter: Willowdene Residential.
Willowdene Residential
Willowdene Residential is a Ministry of Justice funded centre that supports women across England and Wales. They provide tailored therapeutic trauma-informed programmes across a range of different pathways including holistic support to break cycles of trauma, abuse and reoffending. The evaluation considers the reoffending behaviour of 109 women who began the programme between June 2013 and December 2022.
The headline findings showed that women who took part in Willowdene Residential took longer to reoffend than those did not take part. They did not show a statistically significant effect on the reoffending rate or reoffending frequency.
