Details
The quarterly legal aid statistics bulletin presents statistics on the legal aid scheme administered by the Legal Aid Agency (LAA) for England and Wales. This edition comprises the first release of statistics for the three month period from January to March 2019 and also provides the latest statement of figures for all earlier periods. These statistics are derived from data held by LAA, produced by LAA’s statistics team and published by the Ministry of Justice (MOJ).

Civil Legal aid statistics England and Wales provider and area data to March 2019 revised due to incorrect classifying a portion of civil representation costs met by the opponent as being met by the LAA.

Since publication on the 27th June 2019 it has been noted that two columns were incorrectly labelled in tables 9.3 and 9.4. The columns affected were those within 'Other non family' and these have now been corrected as at 30th July 2019.
