  1. An erroneous heading on Table 6 has been updated. The data is in numbers of retirees, not thousands of retirees.

  2. The data in this release have been updated to reflect changes from five pension authorities arising from audits of their accounts. The changes to England and Wales-level aggregate figures are small.
