Official Statistics Release: longitudinal destinations of leavers from higher education

Details

Destinations of leavers from higher education institutions longitudinal survey of the 2006/07 cohort

This is published by the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA) in collaboration with BIS, the Higher Education Funding Councils for England and Wales, the Scottish Funding Council, the Department for Employment and Learning Northern Ireland, and the UK Research Councils.

This is a biennial publication which shows the destinations of Higher Education graduates three and a half years after they have graduated (ie the numbers in employment, in further study, and unemployed), including comparisons with previous surveys.

Figures are shown separately for the main subject areas, and the main levels of HE qualification (eg postgraduate, first degree, foundation degree, and other undergraduate), and there are details of the salary distribution for those in employment. There are also tables showing cross-regional flows for those who entered employment (which compare the region of study with the region of employment, and the region of domicile with the region of employment).

The latest release relates to those who graduated from Higher education in 2006/07 and was published on 1 September 2011.
