• Total landings by UK vessels decreased by 16% in April 2024 compared to 2023. The value of landings in April 2024 (£56.3 million) also decreased slightly, down by 1% compared to 2023.
• Landings in April 2024 comprised mostly of Pelagic species (60%) driven by high uptake of Blue Whiting as the season for this fishery continues.
