Highlights

• Total landings by UK vessels decreased by 4% in March 2024 compared to 2023. However, the value of landings in March 2024 (£72.6 million) also increased slightly, up by 3% compared to 2023.
• Landings in March 2024 comprised mostly of Pelagic species (77%) driven by high uptake of Blue Whiting as the season for this fishery continues.
