Statistics on attitudes towards safety when travelling, and safety during a public transport journey.
Wave 8 gathered responses from 2,018 individuals aged 16 and over in England. Topics include:
- avoidance of public transport modes
- precautions taken to feel safe when travelling
- reasons that people feel unsafe during a public transport journey: walking to a stop, waiting, and travelling on the vehicle
- experiences of assault or harassment encountered when travelling
