The National Child Measurement Programme (NCMP) Local Authority Profile online data tool has been updated to include participation data for the academic year 2015 to 2016.
This update shows:
- total participation rates in state run schools are the highest they have ever been (94.9%)
- participation rates in Reception children increased from 95.5% the previous year to 95.6%
- participation rates in children in Year 6 remained the same at 94.0%
Participation data is provided for 3 indicators in the data tool:
- participation rate: total (Reception and Year 6 combined)
- participation rate: Reception
- participation rate: Year 6
