The update for September 2020 including 2 new indicators has been published by Public Health England (PHE).
The 2 indicators have been updated with data for 2020 for England, strategic clinical network areas, upper tier local authorities, lower tier local authorities and government office regions:
- care home beds per 100 people aged 75 or older
- nursing home beds per 100 people aged 75 or older
The Palliative and end of life care profiles are designed to improve the availability and accessibility of information. They are intended to help local government and health services to improve care at the end of life.
