of these, 8,813 parishes, charter trustees and Temples (local precepting authorities) instructed their billing authority to collect Council Tax on their behalf in 2014 to 2015, an increase of 8 from 2013 to 2014

the average Band D Council Tax added to bills by parishes in 2014 to 2015 is £52.37, which is an increase of £2.14, or 4.3% on 2013 to 2014
