Quarterly special topics based on finalised Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs) data. The PROMs programme covers elective groin hernia, hip replacement, knee replacement and varicose vein procedures and collects self-reported information about their pre- and post-operative health and quality of life. This Special Topic focuses on the relationship between aspects of quality of life (as measured through the EQ-5D Index) and health gain.
