Details

This publication provides outturn statistics for PAYE, Income Tax and National Insurance contributions and Corporation Tax receipts from the banking sector in the UK. This is the first time HMRC has published these statistics. Not all tax receipts from the banking sector are included in these statistics, in particular irrecoverable VAT, bank payroll tax and the bank levy. The reasons for this are discussed in section 4 of this publication.
