This publication contains statistics, for May 2014, on:

  • numbers of Pension Credit customers qualifying for the severe disability additional amount or the additional amount for carers
  • numbers of Pension Credit customers that have been given an Assessed Income Period (a period during which the customer does not have to report every change in their circumstances).

The statistics on the number of customers qualifying for additional amounts are split by:

  • type of Pension Credit
  • age of customer
  • family type
  • government office region

The statistics on numbers of customers given an Assessed Income Period are split by:

  • type of Pension Credit
  • age of customer
  • gender
  • family type
  • receipt of disability benefits
