This publication includes data on the provision of education for children under 5 years of age, including:

  • funded places
  • overall numbers of children benefiting from early years education

This publication now also includes the number of 2-year-olds taking up their entitlement to government-funded early years education. This entitlement was extended to all 2-year-olds in September 2013.
