The July 2019 national statistics public expenditure outturn release presents analyses of public spending against budgeting and expenditure on services frameworks. These analyses cover public spending by department, function and economic category.

Corrections have been made to local government current expenditure data for Scotland in 2017-18. This affects tables 4.2 to 4.4, 5.2 to 5.5, 7.4, 7.5 and 7.8. The changes produce an increase in expenditure of £294 million in 2017-18.

Tables 2.2 and 2.3 have also been corrected.
