Summary
We’re pleased to be publishing our data from post-inspection survey responses for the first time as official statistics in development.
We reviewed our statistical publications in 2022. From the responses to that review, we found that there is public interest in Ofsted’s publishing post-inspection survey data routinely.
Last year, we committed to publish this data annually, with summaries relating to the previous financial year.
We are also showing the data for state-funded schools weighted in line with the judgement outcomes of schools inspected in the year. We are showing this because of interest in the impact of potential response bias. We explain these methods in the data release. They continue to be experimental in their nature. We welcome comments.
This release relates to post-inspection surveys of early years providers, further education (FE) and skills providers, independent schools, social care providers and state-funded schools.
