Details
This statistical report gives local authority-level information about school applications and offers relating to entry into primary and secondary school in September 2014.
It is based on the applications made by parents and the offers they received on the respective National Offer Days of 3 March 2014 (secondary) and 16 April 2014 (primary).
The data is provided by local authorities - primary level data was provided for the first time this year.
The report details the number - for both school levels - of:
- applications received
- offers made based on preferences expressed
- alternative offers
- offers to schools within and outside of the local authority

Updated 'underlying data' to change primary level figures for England (1 of the 3 preference offers) and East Midlands (second preference offers) which were incorrect. These figures were not used to calculate the preference rates in the main primary level SFR table, which is correct and has not been updated.
