1. Summer AS and A level entries for England: Provisional figures April 2014
Some inaccuracies in the data have come to light in our publication Summer AS and A level entries for England: Provisional figures April 2014 first published on 29 July 2014. The release provides information on the number of entries in AS and A level by subject in England (data tables given in the report also give entry figures for Wales and Northern Ireland) during the summer 2014 exam series. The inaccuracies occurred due to some errors in data processing. This affects the report and tables contained within the report. Some of the inaccuracies also affect 2015 and 2016 publications of summer entries for GCSEs, level 1/2 certificates, AS and A levels in England.
The corrected version of the data are reported in the 2017 publication “Summer 2017 exam entries: GCSEs, level 1 / 2 certificates, AS and A levels in England”. We apologise for any confusion caused as a result.
