This official statistic is the first in a new series providing summary information on deaths among UK regular armed forces personnel and ‘on duty’ reservists which occurred whilst on training and exercise from 1 January 2000 to 31 August 2017.

This information has previously been published on three separate occasions in ad hoc statistical bulletins released on: 12 January 2016, 2 March 2016 and 18 November 2016.
