Details

On the Strategic Road Network (SRN) for the year ending September 2023, the average delay is estimated to be 10.3 seconds per vehicle per mile (spvpm), compared to free flow, an 15.7% increase on year ending September 2022.

The average speed is estimated to be 57.2 mph for the year ending September 2023, down 2.2% from September 2022.

On local ‘A’ roads for the year ending September 2023, the average delay is estimated to be 47.4 seconds per vehicle per mile (spvpm) compared to free flow. This is up 4.6% on year ending September 2022.

The average speed is estimated to be 23.1 mph for the year ending September 2023, down 2.9% on year ending September 2022.
