The report of the UK Statistics Authority (UKSA) assessment of the Business Population Estimates for the UK and Regions was published in March 2012 and is accessible via the link: BPE UKSA assessment report

In October 2012 the Department for Business Innovation & Skills (BIS) received confirmation from the UKSA that Business Population Estimates for the UK and Regions had been designated as National Statistics.
