Statistics on motor vehicles that were registered for the first time during January to March 2018 and those that were licensed at the end of March 2018.

During January to March 2018, there were:

• 854,000 vehicles registered for the first time in Great Britain
• 15,300 new ultra low emission vehicles registered for the first time in the UK

At the end of March 2018, there were:

• 37.9 million licensed vehicles in Great Britain
