Comparing 2024 Quarter 1 (January to March) with 2023 Quarter 1 (January to March), in the UK, there were:
- 716,000 vehicles registered for the first time, an increase of 10%
- 91,000 vehicles registered for the first time that were zero emission, an increase of 11%
At the end of March 2024, there were:
- 41.4 million licensed vehicles
- 1.1 million licensed zero emission vehicles
