Details
Venture Capital Trusts (VCTs) are one of the four tax-based venture capital schemes.
Table 1 (previously referred to as Table 8.6) provides statistics on the number of VCTs and amount of funds raised, and includes the first officially published estimates for tax year 2020 to 2021.
Table 2a and 2b (previously Table 8.9a and 8.9b) includes statistics on the number of investors claiming Income Tax relief on their VCT investments and amounts invested, and includes the first estimates for tax year 2019 to 2020.
