This publication provides ad hoc statistics about the number of weekly pension credit claims DWP received between 1 April 2024 and 22 September 2024.

These statistics are being published given public interest in Pension Credit claims following the Chancellor’s announcement on the 29 July 2024 that Winter Fuel payments will be limited to those on Pension Credit or other means tested benefits from Winter 2024.
