Ambassador Malone said:

In recent years, Land Rover transformed itself and is now producing some of the world’s most desirable vehicles. Sales have been increasing and now stand at around 300,000 units per year – 20% of which are in the Asia region. I expect to see a growing number of British entreprises take foothold in Laos and become as successful as Land Rover is already. Our Embassy works closely with the European Chamber of Commerce in Laos and have established an informal group of British business interests to support and promote British business in Laos.
