New honorary consul appointed in the Bahamas

New Honorary Consul Rosamund Roberts, High Commissioner Drake and Former Consul Peter Young and Mrs Young

On Monday 18 February , British High Commissioner Howard Drake hosted a reception in Nassau, Bahamas to bid farewell to the outgoing British Honorary Consul Peter Young O.B.E. and to welcome the new Honorary Consul Rosamund Roberts.

His Excellency, the Governor-General of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas, Sir Arthur Foulkes GCMG and Lady Foulkes attended the reception.

The High Commissioner’s speech paid tribute to Mr Young’s 7 years as honorary consul and welcomed Mrs Roberts to the role.
