UK expertise can help make S.E. Asian 'Smart Cities' a reality

UK Trade and Investment hosted a ‘Smart Cities Smart Living’ seminar on 12 March 2014, in conjunction with the inward trade mission to Kuala Lumpur led by UK Cabinet Minister Grant Shapps. The seminar was designed to highlight the opportunities present in this rapidly developing market, particularly regional developments in Malaysia in two major areas - Environment and Energy. The seminar sought to build partnerships between British and Malaysian companies to support the ongoing implementation of Smart City technologies. Senior representatives from local government and companies were invited to present and share their knowledge with delegates.
