UK visa services in Baghdad and Basra have been temporarily suspended for operational reasons.

UK Visa services in Baghdad and Basra have been temporarily suspended for operational reasons. It is currently not possible to move visa applications from the UK Visa Application Centres in Baghdad and Basra to the UK Visa issuing office in Amman.
As a result, the UK Visa Application Centres in Baghdad and Basra will be temporarily closed whilst alternative transport routes are investigated. UK Visa applicants who have an outstanding appointment at either of these offices will be contacted directly .
The UK Visa Application Centre in Erbil will continue to operate as normal.
