Annex 2: Additional slurry equipment under the Farming Equipment & Technology Fund
A list of other types of slurry items you can buy and how much we will pay towards buying them.
This annex lists the additional slurry application equipment, which is also available under the Farming Equipment & Technology Fund (FETF), that is eligible under Improving Farm Productivity (IFP). This can only be bought in conjunction with mild acidification equipment as detailed above.
All items bought must meet the minimum specifications shown below. Only brand-new items can be bought.
The amount listed for each Item is the actual grant amount we will pay. So regardless of how much you pay you will only receive the grant amount listed for that Item.
It is your responsibility to fund the remaining cost of an Item. You must have sufficient funds to pay for all Items in full, before claiming your grant payment, as this is paid in arrears.
Item specification
Nutrient analysis of slurry in real time during application using Near Infra-red (NIR) spectroscopy.
The system will:
- analyse and record the level of Nitrogen, Phosphate and Potassium (N,P,K) during application
- have the capability with aid of GPS to provide accurate application rates for each field application
- be able to be retrofitted to existing slurry application equipment.
