The ASP service supports school improvement initiatives by offering detailed reports on pupil attainment and progress.

ASP is a secure web-based platform accessible via DfE Sign-in, providing education professionals with comprehensive performance data to facilitate school improvement. It is for:
- school leaders
- governors
- local authorities
- multi-academy trusts
- single academy trusts
- dioceses
- training providers
- Ofsted
- Department for Education (DfE)
The service supports primary and secondary accountability policies and school improvement initiatives by offering detailed reports on pupil attainment and progress.
These reports cover various student groups, including those who:
- are disadvantaged
- have special educational needs (SEN)
- are non-mobile
- have English as a first, or additional, language
The data is presented in easy-to-understand formats such as tables, bar charts, and scatterplots to clearly illustrate trends and patterns.
