APHA animal disease alert subscription service

Sign up to receive the latest news on exotic notifiable animal disease outbreaks in Great Britain.

The Animal and Plant Health Agency (APHA) provides a subscription service which notifies subscribers when there is an exotic notifiable animal disease outbreak in Great Britain.

APHA are using a new service for sending disease alerts.

How to subscribe for disease alerts

To subscribe for disease alerts via email or SMS, complete the information on the subscriptions page.

For email alerts, add your email address.

For SMS and text message alerts, add your mobile phone number (without the 0 at the start). If you do add the 0 the page will crash. You’ll need to delete the number and refresh the page before registering again.

What to do if you have already subscribed

If you currently receive disease alerts then you do not need to resubscribe to the new service.

How to unsubscribe from receiving disease alerts

If you have already subscribed to this service from APHA and no longer wish to receive these disease alerts, complete the information on the subscriptions page. You will then have the option to update your subscription.

How APHA will use your data
