Application for Judicial Review Case Management

This page provides information on how to apply to the Immigration Advice Authority (IAA) to undertake Judicial Review Case Management.

The 2017 Guidance on Competence permits IAA advisers authorised at Level 3 to apply for an additional category of authorisation: Judicial Review Case Management (JRCM). The Guidance outlines the key areas of competence, skills and aptitudes required by advisers authorised to practise in this area.

Any Level 3 advisers wishing to apply in this category need to complete and return a JRCM Application and Competence statement, providing the information and supporting documentation specified on the statement. All advisers in an organisation wishing to apply need to complete a separate statement.

Prior to applying, advisers must read the Commissioner’s Practice Note on Judicial Review Case Management.

Please note that only advisers already registered at IAA Level 3 can apply.
