Apply for a Rye Harbour annual mooring licence

Use this service to apply for an annual mooring licence at Rye Harbour.

Applies to England

A mooring licence allows you to keep your boat at one of these locations operated by the harbour authority:

  • Admiralty Jetty
  • Rye Harbour Pontoons
  • Strand Quay West
  • Strand Quay Pontoons
  • Simmons Quay

If you’re not sure whether a site is suitable for the boat, contact the harbour master by email at rye.harbour@environment-agency.gov.uk or call 01797 225225.

You’ll also need to pay an annual mooring fee.

Before you start

You need to know the:

  • overall length of your boat in metres
  • width of your boat (beam)
  • maximum draught (the approximate depth of the boat below water)
