Apply to be a Peer Reviewer

We are inviting applications from individuals interested in becoming Peer Reviewers.

Applies to England and Wales

Peer Reviewer Panel opportunity

From Monday 14 October 2024 we are offering individuals the opportunity to apply to become Peer Reviewers for the Legal Aid Agency in the Crime, Family, Immigration, Housing and Mental Health categories of law.

This opportunity is limited to new applicants and those who already operate under a Peer Reviewer Contract do not need to re-apply through this process.

The deadline for applications is 11.59am on Monday 18 November 2024.

What is the role of a Peer Reviewer?

Peer Reviewers independently assess random samples of provider case files using guidance developed in consultation with the Law Society, Law Centres and not for profit agencies. This work is important for our auditing and assurance processes and is a means of ensuring that clients have access to high quality legal advice.
