Applies to England

The Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) closed on 31 March 2025. All activity has moved to the Department for Education (DfE). You should continue to follow these agreements and contracts.

This page contains education and skills agreements for 2022 to 2023. For agreements relating to other years, see the ESFA funding agreements and contracts collection page.

Overview

The agreements contain a main terms and conditions body and schedules. You can find background on the structure of the education and skills agreements on the ESFA funding agreements and contracts collection page. 

We will publish version 1 of the specialist post-16 institution agreement, version 1 of the non-maintained special schools (NMSS) agreement and version 2 of all other contracts and agreements in July 2022 along with the funding specific schedules.
