UK organisations might no longer receive funding from EU programmes if the UK leaves the EU without a deal.
The government has guaranteed that organisations will continue to receive funding for certain EU programmes if this happens. The guarantee does not cover funding distributed by UK organisations to partners and participants in other countries.
The guarantee also applies to organisations in British Overseas Territories.
There’s a separate funding guarantee for organisations delivering overseas aid.
What you need to do
Check whether your funding will be covered by the government guarantee. Depending on which EU programme you receive funding from or have applied to, you should do one of the following:
- register so that the government department responsible for your programme can contact you
- email the government department if they have not contacted you already - or the devolved administration if you’re in Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland
- read guidance about how the guarantee affects your programme
